My mother has always used end-stub checks, and when she started losing some of her vision, I decided to get her some checks with bolder lines and bigger print. I'd had trouble finding any end-stub checks online, so when I Googled "low-vision end-stub checks", I never expected to find any. To my big surprise, I found that the Need Store Network Store makes them, and they are perfect for my mother. We just re-ordered them for the next 6 months. They allow my mother to continue paying her bills and give gifts on her own. I also like them, and my vision is fine. The Needs Store service is excellent -- we received the checks within a week of mailing them an order request.
